This year’s competition also involved prizes for the best Halloween costumes.

“My father, Mark Raines, started the hot dog eating contest the year we opened our SpringHill Suites in 2003,” said Raines Hospitality President Grey Raines. “Every year our employees gather for comradery and a good cause. We are proud to again donate funds from this year’s contest to the McLeod Children’s Hospital.”
